Masochistic Tendencies was founded on December 4, 2009. The guild founders re-formed out of an "extreme casual" guild built on friendships and the basic premise that RL > WoW.

MT was formed because many members have been looking for more end-game progression. We are keeping the basic principles of promoting a very social friendly atmosphere while maintaining that real life still comes first.

MT strives to be a 10-man progression raiding guild, but it's important that because this is a GAME, that we have fun doing it! WoW is not a 2nd (or in some cases 3rd) job. We came up with the name due to the fact that, yes the game is fun, and yes it's ok to run face first into new content and kill ourselves just so we can learn the fights and say we've been there. Even though wipes happen, we keep a positive attitude and mentality, almost getting pleasure out of the pain that bosses inflict on us.

We don't tolerate drama and while it's unavoidable at times, any drama will be dealt with as quickly as the situation dictates. We have a few rules that we enforce. We don't mandate raiding attendance, activity, PvP ratings, gear ratings etc. We want our guild members to have fun and enjoy this game that we pay for. We are a very active social bunch of team-oriented goofballs who are currently looking for positive mature players with a twisted sense of humor to join our family. If you are under 18, a drama queen, loot-monger, selfish or immature, please GO AWAY!
